Sundari contacted me with a specific selection of website photographs she was wanting for her website. I love getting shotlists! Although I am always happy to offer advice and suggestions, a little input goes a long way!

We started in MK Cafe in New Farm Park and took some ‘lifestyle’ photos. Sundari brought along some friends as ‘models’ to participate in a reading to help highlight her work.

From here we headed into New Farm Park. You will often find me snapping away in the park – it has so many amazing backdrops and a great variety of locations. Interior Photography

Having a series of high quality interior photographs of your office or business will do wonders for your website. The API day-care centre at Milton wanted some fresh interior photographs of their centre for a branding refresh, so I headed down there one Sunday whilst the centre was child-free for an interior photography session.

Interior photography is very different to wedding and family photography. In many ways interior photography is far easier as all you need is a tidy room and a tripod!

In three hours we were able to get over 150 photos of the day-care centre. I photographed every one of the rooms, got some branding photographs in the reception area, and got some detail photos in each of the rooms. I also ventured outside for some external shots of the day-care centre.

Happily the office space was clean and without distractions so within minutes we had plenty of usable branding photos, and crisp, clear photos to show the work space.

We then moved onto the headshot photography, using both the inside of the office and an outdoor area to capture photographs of Adela in her working environment. I personally prefer the ‘on location’ look of headshots in situ, as opposed to the more traditional method of using a plain backdrop. It also requires less equipment, which means less hassle and less mess!

Adela had a few ideas for the photos, which made the headshot photography shoot go seamlessly.
